Pride sat on the swings, slowly swinging back and forth. She smiled. It had been a while since she'd had complete control like this. She didn't realise how much she'd missed seeing the world up close like this. She sighed, wishing this moment could last forever.

Saeki reads a book under a tree, having a bored expression on his face.

Pride noticed Saeki and approched him slowly and cautiously.

"Hello," She said, "My name is Ayaami. Yours?"

Saeki looks up from the book and at Ayaami for three seconds with his soulless stare and goes back to reading his book again, then answers Ayaami by saying, "Saeki."

"Don't know, about alchemy and magic and stuff like that." Saeki explains, not looking up from the book still.

She sat down next to Saeki.

"I'm bored. Let's go somewhere."

"Nah, I just finished this book and I'm good for now." Saeki says as he closes the book and puts it in his pocket and actually taking his face out of the book.

"So what will we do when we get to this tower?"

"We'll see when we get there." Saeki says as he looks over his shoulder giving a flash of a very faint, small smile. Suddenly, a car driving over 100mph was on a collision course with Saeki, and a cop car is chasing the speeder; and Saeki didn't even notice.

"Okay," Pride said, either not noticing or not caring about the cars. Most likely it was the first, Pride was not very observant.

Saeki notices when the car was only a half-second away. Then, just before the car hit Saeki, he flip-jumps onto the car's hood. Next, he bursts through the driver's window and kicked the speeding driver right in the face, causing him to go unconcious and fly into the passengers seat. Then he stomps on the brakes and makes the car stop completely. Finally he jumps out of the car window, explains to the cop (that had just stopped his car and ran to the unconcious driver's car) what he did and what happened, and started walking to the tower again.

Pride raised an eyebrow.

"That was...interesting," She said simply, "How'd you manage that?"

She turned into an empty lot, where the tower stood tall.

"We're here...."
