And the streets were empty.

There weren't many people in the are commonly refered to as "Downtown Tokyo", which made it the perfect place for Dai to hang out. The few people he did see, however, were scarier than most.

They watched him with shifty eyes, many trying to sell him plastic bags that smelled like drugs out of their large trenchcoats. One had tried to threaten him with an iron knife and steal his money, but he had fled after finding that the iron couldn't hurt Dai.

Dai now sat alone on the side of a building, hiding in the shadows. This was a strange country. It was very dangerous here, and Dai found himself afraid. Afraid of the people, with their weary eyes, the drugs, with their awful stench, and even the harmless weapons they yeilded against him. He knew he had the ability to kill them, but he didn't want to be a murderer anymore...

Twilight had his long robe on, it has hooded on the end. He kept his sword sheathed and concealed in the robe, it was a dangerous place to be. He knew that their were lots of illegal things here, but not all of them were bad. He had purchased some mushrooms, they gave a power 'high' but also had very powerful medicinal qualities.

Dai watched the hooded figure, praying the boy wouldn't notice him. He kept one hand on his sword, just in case. Anyone buying things here could not be too friendly, considering those he had met so far.

Twilight did notice Dai, he didn't look like anyone else. He looked very uncomfortable in the place and almost afraid. he walked up the hthe boy and he unhooded himself. "Hello their stranger are you okay?" He said with a warm smile.

Dai was afraid, but he didn't dare show it. He was afraid this guy might try to hurt him. His grip on his sword tightened.

"I'm fine," He said in a calm, monotone voice that betrayed no emotion.

"I wouldn't suggest loitering around here it's very dangerous sir. Lots of dangerous people creep around here, the police are afraid to come around here most of the time." Twilight said with his smile trying to portray his as nonthreatening.

Dai smirked. This boy didn't belong here anymore than he did.

"How do you know I'm not dangerous?" He asked slowly, cautiously, "I could be plotting to kill you right now, and you just come right up and talk to me. Take your own advice, Mr."

"I would like to see you try it, I might seem nice, but I'm also battle hardened." Twilight smirked when it came to fighting Twilight excelled je had fought in wars and was a master of fighting. "Well I guess you do not wish to be distrubed so I'll leave you be."

Dai was interested in the boy now.

"Really, you're a fighter?" He asked cheerfully, "Neat!"

"I can feel an odd presence about you, and of course I am a fighter, even if you go into a war never holding a weapon when you get out of it you know what your doing." Twilight said now with a grin on his face. When battle and War was brought up Twilight was a different person it was where he shined.

Dai smiled and nodded.

"If you get out, that is." He paused. "Have you really been to war?" He asked, ignoring the bit of the odd presence. That's what he'd learned in his years of traveling; if you pretend like you didn't hear something, whoever said it will pretend they didn't.

"Multiple." Twilight said with a smug look on his face. Thoughts of his different battles across the world. He remembered when him and Japan were mortal enemies. Now he lived their, though he knew if a war ever did break out he would move back to his home land for battle.

Dai's eyes lit up.

"Neat." He said. He wondered if the boy would be interested in his sword, or martial arts skills. He doubted it.

Twilight thought he had hooked the young man's interest and then started to walk away as he would have before the conversation started. He figured if he wanted to continued he figured the boy would follow him or try to stop him from leaving.

Dai stood up.

"Hey, wait," he said, "It's rude to leave in the middle of a conversation!"

Dai assumed it was rude, anyways. No one had taught him anything of it.

"I thought our conversation was over, and I decided to take my own advise as you advised. Follow me if you wish." He said in his British accent. He his cloak swayed as he walk. He moved to a more open spot a place where the more dangerous people would stay away, they usually stuck to the alleys and backstreets.

Dai followed Twilight, still keeping one hand on the sword he had hidden beneth his clothes. He didn't think Twilight was a threat, but this was still a dangerous area.

He noticed, for the first time, Twilight's accent.

"You're from England, aren't you?"

"Born and raised." Twilight said with a smile. he found a small bench it was on the edge of up and down town. "Would this suit you better?" Twilight said sitting down and patting the ground beside him.

Dai nodded, sitting down next to Twilight.

"I am also from out of this country. I'm from New Zealand. Have you heard of it?"
