On the Beach.

Twilight sat on the beach, the waves washing over his feat. He was wearing a t-shirt and a pair of swim shorts. He watched the water slightly nervous as he watched it go to and fro. It was nice and sunny though no one else seemed to be there.

Twilight closed his eyes and tried to enjoy the feeling of the water, though unknown to him a large wave was building and it lifted a few feet in the air. Twiligth opened his eyes moments before it hit and let out a yelp. The water dragged him into the water and to Twilight's dismay he couldn't swim.

Tobi looked up from her book and chuckled at the paniced guy. She stood up, putting her book down and walked out as far as she could go before she had to start swimming. She grabbed the strangers arm and wrapped it around her.

"Try to hold on to me."

She pulled him along. She swam slowly back to the shore, since he was slowing her down a bit.

Twilight coughed some water up and then realized what exactly happened he was freaked out a bit and kinda shaky. He noticed the girl now but with his eyes filled with salt water her image was distorted. He coughed a little more. "Are you a sea maiden? ...Thank you..." He wiped his eyes

"Uhhhm...Sure. Your welcome. You gonna be okay?"

Tobi chuckled and offered a hand to the guy to help him up.

"Yea...yeah I think so." He took her hand and he wiped his eyes a little more, his vision returned to normal. "I thank you again...I...I can't really swim." Twilight said turning a little red feeling embarresed that he couldn't swim and yet he was at the beach.

"You shouldn't stand so close the the never-ending body of water then."

She smiled, but she thought it was pretty funny that a grown man couldn't swim.

"I didn't expect for the waves to go so high... This is the first time I've ever been to a beach." Twilight thought in his head, well a beach that wasn't covered in barbed wire and land mines would be more acurate.

"They do that sometimes.."

Tobi rubbed the back of her neck.

"I advise you to take swimming lessons."

She chuckled again.

"I don't I could do that, a bunch of little children and me laerning how to swim...how embaressing would that be... I'll think I'll take my chances with drowning." Twilight said looking at the water feeling kinda nervous, he took a few steps away from it.

Tobi shrugged.

"Well, at least you would know how to swim and I wouldn't have to get you again."

She slapped the side of his arm, not hard enought to hurt. She did this instead of shaking hands.

"Im Tobi, by the way."

"I'm Twilight, miss Tobi." He said giving her a warm smile. He wasn't exactly sure of what to say. Tobi seemed like a nice girl he just wasn't sure what to talk about.

"Oh, thank you that would be great." Twilight's smile became a bit bigger. As they walked back to his spot he took off the t-shirt he had on to wring it dry. He hadn't planned on getting the shirt wet in the first place.

When they got to her spot, Tobi grabbed the towel and handed it to Twilight. She didn't much need a towel, when Twilight turns around or leaves she'll just seperate the water particles from her skin and hair.

"So..Are you new to Tokyo?"

"Yeah pretty new, the language her is quite difficult, I've spent most of my life in England. I'm sure you could tell that by my accent though." Twilight said drying himself off as best he could his pants were still kinda damp but he was mostly dryed.

"Yeah, your accent made it obvious."

Tobi laughed on the inside, she thought he sounded like an Australian.

Twilight smiled and handed her back the now wet towel. "Thank you for the towel, I guess I don't exactly look Japanese either." Twilight gave a small laugh. "I came here to start a new life, I didn't like it much in England anymore."

"Tokyo isn't much fun either."

Tobi tossed the towel back on the chair.

"Well no place in the world seems to be that great anymore, but I like it here of the little I have seen. It seems like there is always alot of stuff going on all the time." He said looking off at the city in a distance.

"Well this and that, I like to read, draw and to play music, though I like trying a little bit of everything." Twilight noticed when he looked back that she was dry, he didn't ask though and sat down too.

Tobi slumped a bit, she never really cared for posture.

"What instrument do you play?"

"Well I've learned a wide variety of unstruments like violin, piano, guitar, th ocarina, trumpet, drums and such." Twilight thought it wasn't too impressive knowing how long he has had to learn and study all of them.
